Who We Are
Choice Housing Trust was established in 2004 by Robert Mellors following his personal experience of homelessness. Our holistic approach combines safe housing with person centred support services, ensuring that our residents receive the guidance and support they need to transition into permanent housing when ready to do so.
All our supported housing is in Sheffield. We use a dispersed housing model so that we can better meet the locational needs of residents, and provide homes which are of a more manageable size.
We have a wide range of property types and sizes, some of which we own outright, and others we hold on long-term leases from private landlords.

Our mission is to provide secure, and supportive, housing for individuals experiencing homelessness who are often unable to access either social housing or private rented housing.
We strive to create a nurturing environment where our residents can access the resources and support necessary to achieve long-term stability and self-sufficiency.
